Context and Purpose

channelcentral is a Software-as-a-Service company specialising in the worldwide IT hardware distribution and reseller sector. We create cutting-edge software that is used by some of the world’s largest IT companies, and we are growing – we’re now looking for an experienced .NET / C# / JavaScript software developer. You will join the team that designs, builds, tests and maintains our software. The Responsibilities

The post holder will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver modern, appealing and effective user experiences and interfaces.
  • Develop quality software solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Work with other lead developers to design / architect and produce highly usable software systems.
  • Provide architectural and effort-based input to ensure accurate development costing.
  • Mentor junior developers to enhance the team’s skillset.
  • Work to improve current coding standards.
  • Actively lead in sprint refinement and planning sessions as part of the team of lead developers.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates of the development work required for new projects.
  • Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support all work.
